When:       Camp Check-In:  Wed., July 11, 2012; 3:00-4:30 p.m.

Where:       Allen Hall (in the lobby) on the campus of Baylor University

                   723 Speight, Waco, TX 76706

How:            When you arrive to the lobby, there will be friendly staff wearing Odell James Football Camp shirts to greet you & your parents.  They will ask your name and if you have completed registration.  If you have completed registration, you will be whisked to the “quick” table and will be issued your dorm key/meal card.  Please make your parents feel welcomed to help you settle into your room and to stay for the camp orientation and concert.

Dinner for the campers will begin at 5 p.m. in the Allen Hall Dining Facility (1st floor of the dormitory, toward the back of the dorm).  Parents who will be staying for the orientation and worship time may join the camp for dinner.  However, parents/friends/family, etc. are responsible for the cost of their dinner (approximately $8-$10/person).  This will be paid directly to the Dining Facility at the meal check-in desk.  Waco has other dining options, as well.  Within a 1 mile radius of the campus are the following:  Quizno’s, Subway, Taco Bell, McAlister’s Deli, Fazoli’s, Wendy’s, Taco Cabana and Sonic.  Within a 2 mile radius of Campus are the following:  Ninfa’s, The Hilton, Buzzard Billy’s and Diamond Back’s.

Campers should begin wrapping up their dinner at 6 p.m. as coaches will begin calling for the roll for orientation at 6:15 p.m.

If I am a commuter, do I need to check-in on Wed., 07/11/2012?

No, this is not necessary.  However, you will need to show up at Floyd Casey Stadium's Practice Fields no later than 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, 07/12/12 to formally check-in to the camp.

You may check-in on Wed. 07/11/12 if you'd like.  You will not need to then go through the formal check-in process again on Thurs. morning.  If you choose to come to the general camp check-in on Wed. 07/11/12, we would suggest that if you’ve completed registration (please see above), you check-in closer to 4:45 p.m., so that at 5 p.m. you can go right in for dinner and not have to wait as long as if you checked-in at 3 p.m.  Commuter campers will be required to pay for this dinner on this night--all other dinners are included in the camp fee.  For overnighters, this meal is covered in your camp tuition.  In addition, you will be with the camp the entire time—for dinner, orientation, worship and meetings.  You must be picked up from Allen Hall at 9:30 p.m. that night.

If I am a commuter, will I receive breakfast on camp mornings?

You may join the overnighters for breakfast at 7:30 a.m. each morning at Allen Hall.  However, you are responsible for transportation to and from breakfast at Allen to Floyd Casey Stadium for the morning’s activities and must pay for breakfast directly to Allen Hall dining facility.  If you’d like to pay an additional $15 on camp check-in day, we will provide transportation each morning for you from breakfast at Allen Hall to Floyd Casey Stadium.  If you would like to pay a $25 fee at check-in you will be able to eat breakfast and ride to Floyd Casey Stadium from Allen Hall each morning.

If I am a commuter, will I receive lunch and dinner during camp?

Yes, you will go by bus with the entire camp to Allen Hall for lunch.  If you’d like to bring a change of clothes for the afternoon and evening practices, you’ll have the opportunity to change during lunch/rest time.  We’ll have dinner together as a camp at Floyd Casey Stadium in the evening.

If I am a commuter, when am I supposed to be picked-up each day?

***Due to weather that cannot be predicted, sometimes location of practice will change from Floyd Casey to the Baylor Indoor Practice Facility.  Please call or check the website 30 minutes before practice to get the location.***

When are my parents able to see me?

Parents/Family/Friends, etc. may come to all practices (please see the schedule on our website: www.oandksports.net ).  However, parents, please do not feel offended if OJFC staff looks or asks questions.  We are committed to keeping your athlete safe and as part of our staff policy, if we have questions, we ask first and say sorry second.  We want the campers to have support and for them to experience the collegiate practice atmosphere, full of fans, family and the media, but we want them safe!
